Parliament Question: Common Facility Centers under CDP

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 275 TO BE ANSWERED ON 02.02.2026 COMMON FACILITY CENTERS UNDER CDP 275. SMT. REKHA SHARMA: Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state: (a) the number of Common Facility Centres approved or operational in the State of Haryana; (b) the nature of technological and infrastructural support being provided to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through these centres; (c) whether traditional and rural industries are being included under the Cluster Development Programme; and (d) the measurable outcomes achieved in terms of productivity, exports and employment? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE) (a) and (b): 10 Common Facility Centres (CFCs) have been approved, out of which 03 projects are operational & 07 projects are under implementation under Micro & Small Enterprises – Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) Scheme in the State of Haryana. The Common Facility Centres contribute to enhancing the sustainability, competitiveness and overall growth of MSEs by addressing common challenges relating to technology upgradation, skill development, quality improvement and market access. (c): MSE-CDP is demand driven scheme, and proposals under the scheme are received from the State/UT Governments to address the common needs of existing cluster in their States/UTs. The scheme is open to all sector including traditional and rural industries.
