Selected Airline Operators (SAOs) begin operations on awarded UDAN routes connecting these airports upon the airport's development and readiness. Representations have been received requesting development and operation of Sabeya Airport under the UDAN scheme. Sabeya (Hathua) airstrip in Bihar, is in the tentative list of unserved airports under the UDAN scheme. However, no bids for routes connecting Sabeya airstrip have been received from any airline to date. As such, the airstrip has not been taken up for revival under the UDAN scheme.
