CONTINUATION OF MEGA FOOD PARK SCHEME
3272. MS. INDU BALA GOSWAMI:
Will the Minister of FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES be pleased to state:
(a) whether Mega Food Park Scheme has been discontinued by the Ministry since April
2021;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) whether the operation of Mega Food Parks operating prior to April 2021 will continue
as before, if so, the details thereof?

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES
(SHRI RAVNEET SINGH)
(a) to (c): Ministry of Food Processing Industries was implementing Mega Food Park Scheme
(MFPS), a component scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY),
from 2008 to 31.03.2021. The scheme has been discontinued by the Government w.e.f.
01.04.2021 with provision for committed liabilities during 15th Finance Commission cycle for
ongoing projects only. Under Mega Food Park scheme, the Ministry has approved 41 Mega
Food Parks (MFPs) in the country. State-wise details of these MFPs including their status of
implementation are at Annexure.
