Will the Minister of ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state:
(a) the number of Gram Panchayats in the Bhind–Datia Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh
connected with high-speed internet/fiber along with the number of operational Common Service
Centres (CSCs) and schools/colleges provided with digital labs/Wi-Fi under the Union
Government’s Digital India, BharatNet and CSC 2.0 schemes;
(b) the total funds approved and released for the said constituency during the years 2024–25 and
2025–26;
(c) whether the Government proposes to establish IT skill development centres, start-ups
incubation centres and BPO/ITeS units in Bhind–Datia;
(d) if so, the details of the number of youths to be provided digital skill training along with start-
ups to be supported and the number of new jobs expected to be created under these initiatives; and
(e) the timeline for implementation of the said initiatives?

(a) to (e): A total number of 742 Gram Panchayats (GPs) have been connected with optical fibre
in Bhind-Datia Parliamentary constituency of Madhya Pradesh. About 90 school/colleges have
been provided with internet connectivity through BharatNet.
Under different schemes of Digital Bharat Nidhi, till 31.12.2025, Rs. 6533.29 crore have been
disbursed to Madhya Pradesh.
Common Services Centres (CSCs) are established under the project CSC 2.0 throughout the
country to provide citizen-centric services. The project CSC 2.0 has been completed w.e.f.

and capacity building activities in IECT areas.
NIELIT has set up its 12 Facilitation Centres in Bhind and 08 Facilitation Centres in Datia districts
of Madhya Pradesh for providing training on Digital Literacy Courses(DLC). In last 3 years,

To strengthen the startup ecosystem in the Electronics and ICT domain, MeitY has undertaken
several initiatives to promote technology-driven entrepreneurship. Under the Technology
Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) Scheme, launched in 2019, financial
and technical support is being provided through 51 selected incubators located in institutes of
higher learning and premier R&D organisations across the country.
Further, MeitY has launched the Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups (GENESIS) Scheme
to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Tier-II and Tier-III cities by scaling up around 1,600
technology startups. In addition, MeitY has operationalized several Domain-Specific Centres of
Excellence (CoEs) and theme-based incubation centres in areas of national priority to promote
innovation and self-reliance. These centres provide targeted support to startups in key sectors such
as ESDM, FinTech, MedTech, AgriTech, IoT and other emerging technology domains.
