Shri Sunil Kumar: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government proposes to formulate any special scheme for the construction of Pathways/roads and the provision of electricity and drinking water for the development of the Tharuhat area in Valmiki Nagar Lok Sabha Constituency, which is predominantly inhabited by tribal populations; and (b) if so, the timeline fixed for the same along with the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a): Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on October 2, 2024, aims to saturate infrastructural gaps, improve access to health, education, Anganwadi facilities, roads, drinking water, electricity and providing livelihood opportunities to tribal people of 63,843 villages in 549 districts and 2,911 blocks across 30 States/UTs. (b) The Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) period is from 2nd October, 2024 to 31st March, 2029. The abhiyan' integrates 25 interventions across 17 Ministries. Key multi-sectoral interventions include: S.
