INDRA HANG SUBBA: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has schemes to provide digital infrastructure in the tribal dominated areas, if so, the details thereof; (b) whether the Government provides assistance through any scheme or scholarship to tribal students to avail coaching for the NEET examination, if so, the details thereof; (c) the number of districts in the North Eastern Region that have functional Eklavya Model Residential Schools, State-wise; and (d) the number of districts in the State of Sikkim that are deprived of Eklavya Model Residential Schools and the relevant details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a) To strengthen digital education, smart classrooms have been provided in EMRSs. At present, 262 Smart class rooms have been provided in EMRSs. (b) NESTS is providing free coaching to all science stream students through online mode under ENABLE Program and offline coaching through three Centre of Excellence for JEE/NEET preparation.
