(a) whether Government sent any official delegation, comprising Members
of Parliament abroad for engaging the world community on 'Operation
Sindoor', if so, the details and objectives thereof indicating the countries
visited, dates, names and political affiliations of participants;
(b) whether care was taken to ensure balanced representation from
various States/Union Territories in these delegations so that diversity and
federal spirit of the country be manifested at global platforms in proper
way, if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor and the
proposed benchmark to ensure regional and political balance in future;
1(c) whether any specific outcomes emerged/assurances received from the
countries visited under this initiative, if so, the details thereof;
(d) the changes observed in the international outlook towards India's
counter-terrorism efforts after the said visits;
(e) the number of countries that condemned Pakistan for giving refuge to
terror organisations; and
(f) whether the Government proposes further diplomatic dialogue or
follow-up contacts under 'Operation Sindoor' in future, if so, the details

(a) to (f): Seven all-party delegations travelled to a total of 33 countries
to convey India’s strong national consensus and resolute approach to
combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Each delegation
comprised Hon’ble Members of Parliament and eminent personalities from
different political parties across India, as well as veteran diplomats.
Details are attached at Annexure 1.
The delegations, which were diverse and representative in their
composition, were warmly received and held substantive discussions with
important and influential interlocutors in the executive and legislative
branches, media, think-tanks and Indian community.
They briefed their interlocutors on the Pahalgam terror attack and
Operation Sindoor, and also the long history of Pakistan-sponsored terror
attacks in India. The delegations were able not only to raise awareness on
Pakistan’s complicity in terrorism on a global scale but also to address
Pakistani propaganda on Jammu and Kashmir and Operation Sindoor. All
their interlocutors unequivocally condemned the use of terrorism against
3India, with several of them recognizing India’s right to defend itself
against terrorism.
It was due to greater appreciation of India’s position that the
terrorist group ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF), responsible for the Pahalgam
terror attack has been mentioned in the latest report of the Monitoring
Team of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) 1267 Sanctions
Committee, published on 29 July 2025. Moreover, on 18 July 2025, TRF
was designated by the United States of America as a Foreign Terrorist
Organisation (FTO) and as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT).
India continues to remain engaged with the international
community, including with partner countries and international
organisations, on all matters related to counter-terrorism cooperation.
