(a) the details of amount of funds collected, utilised and currently available under
District Mineral Foundation Fund during the last five years in Andhra Pradesh,
district and year-wise;
(b) the details of the projects proposed, ongoing, pending and completed through
funding from District Mineral Foundation Fund in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise;
(c) the details of the areas identified to be directly and indirectly affected by mining
and related activities in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise;
(d) the details of the affected and displaced families by mining and related activities
in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise;
(e) whether the Government has conducted audits of the District Mineral Foundation
Funds in Andhra Pradesh; and
(f) if so, the details of the findings, if not, the reason therefor?

(a) As per the information received from the State Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, the
details are given at annexure-I.
(b) As per the information received from the State Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, the
details are given at annexure-II.
(c) & (d) Section-1 of revised PMKKKY-2024 guidelines states that the directly
affected area is an area within such radius from a mine or cluster of mines as may
be specified by the State Government but shall not extend beyond 15 km from theboundary of the mines of mineral other than minor minerals. Further, indirectly
affected area is an area beyond the directly affected area and within such radius
from a mine or cluster of mines as may be specified by the State Government but not
more than 25 km from boundary of mines of mineral other than minor minerals,
irrespective of whether this falls within the district concerned or adjacent district. The
identification of affected areas and people/families is governed by Andhra Pradesh
State DMF Rules 2016, Rule 2(b)(c)(d).
(e) & (f) Section-9 of revised PMKKKY guidelines 2024 stipulates that the accounts
of DMF shall be audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) as per
schedule decided by CAG. In addition to this, the accounts of the DMF shall be
audited every year by Chartered Accountant appointed by the DMF, or in such a
manner as the Government specify, and the report thereof shall be placed in public
domain. As per the information received from the State of Andhra Pradesh, DMF are
conducting audit of accounts as per the Andhra Pradesh state DMF rule 2016.
