Will the Minister of COAL be pleased to state:
(a) whether there are any outstanding dues payable by the State Government of
Telangana and the Union Government to Singareni Collieries Company Limited
(SCCL) and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government of Telangana has misappropriated the profits of SCCL
and if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government of Telangana has sold its stake in SCCL and if so, the
details thereof; and
(d) whether the workers, arrears/dues has been misused by the State Government of
Telangana and if so, the details thereof?

(a) No outstanding dues are payable by the Union Government to Singareni
Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). Further, in SCCL, there are no dues which are
outstanding and directly payable by the State Government of Telangana.
However, as on 30.06.2025, dues amounting to ₹18064 crore (including interest of
₹1695 crores) are payable by Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited
(TGGENCO) towards supply of coal, and dues amounting to ₹24,675 crores
(including interest of ₹11806 crores) are payable by Transmission Corporation of
Telangana Limited (TGTRANSCO) towards supply of power.
