Will the Minister of PANCHAYATIRAJ be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government has the data pertaining to the total number of elected representativesinthe Panchayats, PanchayatSamitiand the ZillaParishad;

(b) if so, the detailsthereof,State-wise;

(c) whether the Government has the data about the number of elected Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and women Representatives in the Panchayats, Panchayat Samiti and the Zila Parishad;and

(a) to (d): A statement showing State/Union Territory-wise number of Elected Representatives and Women Elected Representatives is placed in Annexure. This data includes the total number of Elected Representatives functioning in the Gram Panchayats, Intermediate Panchayats and District Panchayats of the State/Union Territory. Further, caste based data of Elected Representativesisnot maintainedbythe Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
