(a) whether the Government has fulfilled various needs including
electricity in all the rural areas; and
(b) if so, the details thereof particularly BeedLokSabha

(a) & (b): Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) is implementing a
number of welfare schemes/programmes such as Mahatma Gandhi
National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS),
Pradhan MantriAwaasYojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), Pradhan Mantri
Gram SadakYojana (PMGSY), DeendayalAntyodayaYojana - National
Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM),
DeenDayalUpadhyayaGrameenKaushalyaYojana (DDUGKY), Rural
Self Employment Training Institutes(RSETIs) and National Social
Assistance Programme(NSAP) for overall development of rural areas
of the country.
These schemes/programmes aim to alleviate poverty and to
bring about overall improvement in the quality of life of the people in
rural areas of the country by strengthening livelihood opportunities,
providing minimum guaranteed employment, promoting self-
employment, skilling of youths in various useful trades and
entrepreneurship qualities, infrastructure development and
provision of social assistance.

such as piped drinking water, toilets, electricity connections, LPG
gas connections, solar lanterns, clean cooking energy, and solar
rooftops are ensured through convergence for the beneficiaries of
all eligible villages across the country, including the BeedLokSabha
constituency of Maharashtra.
In addition to this, electricity supply to rural households is
concerned, Ministry of Power, Government of India has always
supplemented the efforts of the States through schemes like
DeenDayalUpadhyaya Gram JyotiYojana (DDUGJY), Integrated
Power Development Scheme (IPDS), Pradhan
MantriSahajBijliHarGharYojana (SAUBHAGYA) etc., to help them
achieve the objective of providing quality and reliable power supply
to all households including BeedLokSabha Constituency of
Maharashtra.
Government of India is further supporting States for grid
electrification of left-out households during SAUBHAGYA, under the
ongoing scheme of Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS),
launched in July,2021.In addition, all identified households
belonging to Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) under PM
JANMAN (Pradhan MantriJanjatiAdivasiNyayaMahaAbhiyan) and
tribal households under DA-JGUA (DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram
UtkarshAbhiyan) are being sanctioned for on-grid electricity
connection under RDSS as per the scheme guidelines.
