Shri Naveen Jindal: Will the Minister of COOPERATION (सहकारिता मंत्री) be pleased to state: (a) the current status and enrolment progress of Tribhuvan Sahkari University; (b) whether the Government plan to ensure that the University successfully faces the immense challenge of scaling its training infrastructure to match the sector's size and that its curriculum translates into a trained workforce for grassroots cooperative institutions, especially in States with weak cooperative penetration; and (c) if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF COOPERATION सहकारिता मंत्री (SHRI AMIT SHAH) (a): The current enrolment in the University for the academic year 2026–27 is as follows: Academic Programme Number of Students Enrolled Year MBA in Agribusiness Management 53 MBA in Cooperative Banking and Finance 50 2026-27 MBA in Cooperative Management 23 MBA in Rural Management 224 TOTAL 350 (b) and (c): The “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University has been mandated under the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University Act, 2025, to provide qualified and trained manpower to meet the present Page 1 of 3and future needs of the co-operative sector and to also provide training, education and capacity building to the employees and board members of co-operative societies by creating a pan-India network of affiliated institutes and its own outlying campuses. In line with the mandate, the University has expanded its network by affiliating 16 institutions across 10 State/UTs.
