(a) whether the Union Government has received a proposal from the State
Government of Andhra Pradesh seeking approval for the establishment of a Maritime
University or Aqua and Marine Fishing University in the State;
(b) if so, the details of the proposal received, including location, estimated project cost
and proposed academic scope;
(c) whether the Union Government has accorded approval or provided in-principle
consent to the proposal; and
(d) if so, the timeline and funding pattern envisaged by the Union Government for the
