(a) to (c): Agriculture is a state subject. However, Government of India is implementing
a comprehensive range of Central Sector as well as Centrally Sponsored Schemes and
programmes for the welfare of farmers in the country. These schemes encompass entire
spectrum of agriculture including credit, insurance, income support, infrastructure, crops
including horticulture, seeds, mechanization, marketing, organic and natural farming,
farmer collectives, irrigation, extension, procurement of crops from farmers at minimum
support prices and digital agriculture.
The list of schemes implemented by the Government is provided in Annexure I,
while details of schemes benefiting farmers in Delhi is provided in Annexure II.
Additionally, the Project Approval Committee (PAC) has approved a budget of
₹577.00 lakhs under the Crop Residue Management (CRM) component for the fiscal year
2025-26 for Delhi.Annexure I

Details of schemes benefiting farmers in Delhi
I. CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEMES
1. ₹2.47 crores have been disbursed to 11,084 beneficiaries under 19th Installment of
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM - KISAN).
2. 360 farmers, as on 30.06.2025, have been enrolled under Pradhan Mantri Kisan
Maan Dhan Yojana (PM - KMY) since its inception.
3. Under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF), as on 30.06.2025, ₹35 Crores have
been sanctioned for 14 projects under. The total project cost for these sanctioned projects
is ₹58 crores.
II. CENTRALLY SPONSORED SCHEMES
Under Rastriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) ₹10.62 crore & ₹4.17 crores were
allocated for the year 2023-24 and 2024-25 respectively. For 2023-24 and 2024-25 the
total allocation under Krishionnati Yojana (KY) was ₹1.10 crore & ₹1.30 cores
respectively, under its various components namely Mission for Integrated Development
of Horticulture (MIDH), Sub-Mission on Agriculture Extension (SMAE) & Sub-
Mission on Seeds & Planting Material (SMSP).
