(a) the total amount of funds allocated, released and utilized as foreign
aid/loans for other countries during the last five years, country-wise;
(b) the list of projects proposed, under construction and presently
functioning in above-specified countries via financial aid/loans by India
during the last ten years, country-wise;
(c) the present status of the above projects undertaken and the proposed
timeline for completion for all pending projects started during the last ten
years, country-wise; and
(d) whether the Government has undertaken any study/survey of projects
that are in sensitive/war-zone regions of above specified countries, if so,
the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) Details of India’s foreign aid allocations for the last five years, region-
wise and year-wise are attached at Annexure-I
(b and c) The list of projects, with their present status, funded
through financial aid and loans (Lines of Credit / Concessional Financing
Scheme) by India during the last ten years attached at Annexure - II,
Annexure - III and Annexure IV respectively. Cultural and Heritage Projects
funded through aid are given at Annexure V.
(d) The Ministry of External Affairs remains closely engaged with
the countries where projects are undertaken mindful of the political and
security situation on the ground. In countries of sensitive/war zone regions
where the project-related activities are underway, collaboration with
various stakeholders of the local Government is being actively pursued to
ensure timely progress.
