Shri Eswarasamy K: Will the Minister of COOPERATION (सहकारिता मंत्री) be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has reviewed the financial and institutional support extended to cooperative training institutions including the Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management (NICM) during the last five years, if so, the details thereof; (b) the details of grants-in-aid, infrastructure funding and training programmes sanctioned, year- wise; and (c) whether the Government proposes to enhance funding and modernise curriculum in view of cooperative sector reforms and if not, the reasons therefor? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF COOPERATION सहकारिता मंत्री (SHRI AMIT SHAH) (a) Yes, Sir. Review of the financial and institutional support extended to cooperative training institutions including the Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management (NICM) is done regularly. (b) The year-wise details of Grants-in-Aid provided to NCCT and training programmes conducted during the last five years are placed at Annexure-I and Annexure-II, respectively. Further, an amount of Rs. 5.389 crore was released (in FY 2022-23) to NCCT for infrastructure funding during the last five years. (c) Yes, Sir. Measures have been taken for modernisation of training curriculum of cooperative training institutes in line with the evolving requirements of the cooperative sector. *****Annexure – I Grant-In-Aid Released to NCCT from Ministry of Cooperation during the last Five Years (Rs. in Lakhs) S.
