S JOTHIMANI: Will the Minister of FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES be pleased to state: (a) the details of the funds allocated, disbursed and utilized under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Enterprises scheme in Karur district of the State of Tamil Nadu during the last three years; and (b) whether the Union Government has any plan for the formalisation of cold storage under the said scheme in Karur district in the State of Tamil Nadu and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES (SHRI RAVNEET SINGH) (a): Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) is a demand driven scheme and funds are not released district-wise. However, Centre Share of Rs. 196.02 crore has been released/ allocated in the last three years to the State of Tamil Nadu for implementation of various components of the Scheme.
