**Summary:**
This document summarizes the funds allocated and utilized under food processing schemes in Haryana, with a focus on the Sonepat Lok Sabha Constituency, in response to Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 1990. The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) implements three central sector schemes: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY), Production Linked Incentive Scheme for Food Processing Industry (PLISFPI), and PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME).

Will the Minister of FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES be pleased to state:
(a) the funds allocated and utilized under the food processing schemes during the last five
years in Haryana particularly in the Sonepat Lok Sabha Constituency, district-wise;
(b) whether a major portion of the allocated funds has remained unutilized;
(c) if so, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the steps being taken by the Government to ensure utilization of funds and
implementation of the schemes effectively?

(a) to (d) : Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) is implementing two Central Sector
Schemes namely Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY) and Production Linked
Incentive Scheme for Food Processing Industry (PLISFPI). Further, a Centrally sponsored PM
Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme is also being
implemented by MoFPI. All these 3 schemes are being implemented by MoFPI across the
country including all districts of Haryana.
District/State/UT-wise allocation of funds are not made under PMKSY and PLISFPI.
However, under PMKSY, MoFPI has approved 47 food processing projects with total project
cost of Rs 1398.43 crores and approved grant-in-aid of Rs 350.27 crores in the State of
