2937. SMT. HARSIMRAT KAUR BADAL WILL THE MINISTER OF NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY BE PLEASED TO
STATE:
(a) the details of total funds allocated and utilised under the Pradhan Mantri-Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) by all the States/UTs in the country during the last five years;
(b) the number of beneficiaries covered under PM-KUSUM in various States/UTs in the country during the last five years; and
(c) the details of the total quantity of electricity generated by beneficiaries under PM- KUSUM, State-wise during the last five years? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR NEW & RENEWABLE ENERGY AND POWER (SHRI SHRIPAD YESSO NAIK)
(a) PM KUSUM is a demand driven scheme. Under the scheme, the funds allocation is based on the progress made by the states against the allocated capacities. As on 30.06.2025, State/UT- wise details of fund released in last five and current financial year is placed at Annexure I.
