Funds under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan
169. Shri K Radhakrishnan:
Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has not released the Central share of funds under the Sarva
Shiksha Abhiyan to the State of Kerala during the current financial year;
(b) if so, the reasons for the delay or non-release of such funds;
(c) the total amount of Central assistance pending for release to Kerala under the said
schemes; and
(d) the time by which the Government proposes to release the pending funds to ensure that
the implementation of school education programmes in the said State is not affected?

(a) to (d): An amount of Rs. 92.41 Crore has been released to the State of Kerala as
1st instalment during current financial year out of Central Share of Rs. 452.04 Crore allocated
for FY 2025-26. The balance Central Share is released to the State subject to compliance with
release criteria of the scheme and guidelines of Ministry of Finance issued from time to time.
