SHRI G M HARISH BALAYOGI: Will the Minister of COMMUNICATION be pleased to state: (a) the details of GPs covered under Phase I and Phase II of BharatNet Project in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise especially in Konaseema; (b) the details of GPs yet to be connected and proposed to be covered under Phase III of the project and ABP in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise; (c) the details of Phase-wise targets and timelines for connecting remaining GPs, non-GP villages in Andhra Pradesh, under the project and ABP; (d) the quantum of optical fibre cable laid and number of FTTH connections, public Wi-Fi hotspots established in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise especially for Konaseema; (e) the extent of utilisation of BharatNet infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh including district wise details of dark fibre leasing, operational Wi-Fi access points, FTTH service uptake and bandwidth leasing to service providers; (f) the details of total amount of funds allocated, disbursed, utilised under the project in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise and phase-wise; and (g) the details of proposals received for extending connectivity to non-GP villages on a demand- driven basis, in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise? PEMMASANI CHANDRA SEKHAR) (a) to (c) In Andhra Pradesh, all 12,955 GPs planned under BharatNet Phase-I & II have been made service ready. Amended BharatNet Program is proposed to be implemented in the state to provide ring topology to GPs and connectivity to non-GP villages on demand basis. .The timeline for completion of the construction phase under the ABP is three years from the date of sign of contract. District wise details of GPs of Andhra Pradesh including Konaseema district under BharatNet is available on Digital Bharat Nidhi website (https://usof.gov.in/home). (d) & (e) The Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) laid under BharatNet in Andhra Pradesh is 60,123 km, till 30.06.2025. Further, 50,579 Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) connections have been provided, 1,570 Wi-Fi hotspots have been installed across the state and dark fibre leased is 2,899 km.
