(a) Yes sir, drone mapping coverage SVAMITVA scheme has contributed to a precise
distribution of property cards. As on 6th August 2025, drone survey has been completed in 3.26
1lakh villagesout of the targeted 3.44lakh villages; 2.63Crore property cardshave been prepared
in1.73 lakhvillages.
(b) Thus, SVAMITVA scheme has contributed significantly to increased improvements in
rural governance and enhanced the implementation of Gram Panchayat Development Plans
(GPDPs). All high-resolution drone images generated of rural abadi areas under SVAMITVA
Scheme are being integrated with Gram Manchitra application of the Ministry. These digital
images provide decision support system to Gram Panchayats to facilitate Gram Panchayats
DevelopmentPlan(GPDP). However,no such data ismaintained bythe Ministry.
(c) As per the information available with this office, Madhya Pradesh has made it
mandatory to include name of women owners in the property cards under SVAMITVA Scheme
asper theirSVAMITVASurvey Guidelinesissued bytheir Revenue Department vide letterNo. 2
-5/2021/सात/शा.-7 dt 05.04.2021 however, no data is available with the Ministry with regards to
number of women property owners. Such type of initiative taken by any other States has not
come inthe notice of the Ministry.
d) The scheme has been designed to ensure generation of precise property cards, thus
reducing property disputes by providing clear ownership records. This is aimed at bringing
transparency, enabling ease of transactions, and strengthening property rights in Abadi areas.
However, nodata isavailablewith the Ministry with regardstoreduction inpropertydisputes.
(e) The SVAMITVA scheme has contributed to better access to institutional credit for
property card owners. As per information shared by Department of Financial services, 9931
loansworth Rs. 1307crore have beendisbursed.
