MD ABU TAHER KHAN: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण मं(cid:361)ी be pleased to state: (a) the details of rate of Gross Value Added (GVA) for agriculture in the last five years and the details thereof; (b) whether the budgetary allocation for the Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-AASHA) has reduced in the last three years and if so, the details thereof; (c) whether the Government calculates average farm income and if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and (d) whether farm income has increased in the last five years and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण रा(cid:475) मं(cid:361)ी (SHRI BHAGIRATH CHOUDHARY) (a): During 2024-25, the GVA of agriculture sector registered a growth of 9.2% as per the First Revised Estimate (FRE) of GVA. The Gross Value Added (GVA) percentage growth in the agriculture and allied sectors during the last five years (at current prices) is as under: 2024-25 Years 2020-21 2021-22 2022-23 2023-24 (FRE) At current prices 10.0 10.6 8.5 7.6 9.2 Source: MoS&PI (b): Budgetary Allocation under Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM- AASHA) during the last three years is as under: (Amount in Rs Crore) 2022-23 4500.00 2023-24 2240.00 2024-25 6551.26 (c) & (d): The average monthly income of agricultural households in the country is periodically estimated through the “Situation Assessment Survey (SAS) of Agricultural Households”, conducted by the National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). As per the latest NSS 77th round of the Survey (January, 2019 - December, 2019) in the rural areas of the country, the average monthly income per agricultural household from various sources including crop production, farming of animals, wages, non-farm business and leasing out of land is estimated at Rs. 10,218/- per month. The contribution of these sources varies across States depending on local agro-climatic conditions, farm size, and cropping patterns. According to these surveys, the estimated average monthly income per agricultural household increased from ₹6,426 in 2012-13 (NSS 70th round) to ₹10,218 in 2018 -19 (NSS 77th round). *****
