Shri P P Chaudhary: Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state: (a) the targets set under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) scheme and the total number of houses constructed so far under PMAY-G, State/UT-wise particularly in the Pali Lok Sabha Constituency; (b) whether it is true that the Ministry has achieved saturation of eligible households identified through the 2011 Census list and the Awaas survey and if so, the details thereof; and (c) the progress made in terms of housing approvals and completion of construction under the scheme, State/UT-wise particularly for Pali Lok Sabha Constituency? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (DR. CHANDRA SEKHAR PEMMASANI) (a) to (c): In order to achieve the objective of "Housing for All" in rural areas, the Ministry of Rural Development is implementing Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G) with effect from 1st April 2016 to provide assistance to eligible rural households for the construction of pucca houses with basic amenities. The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for the continuation of PMAY-G during FY 2024-25 to 2028-29 for the construction of 2 crore additional rural houses. As on 7.8.2025, a total target of 4.12 crore has been allocated by the Ministry, out of which 3.84 crore houses have been sanctioned by States/UTs and 2.82 crore houses are completed.
