ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATE IN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (SMT. ANUPRIYAPATEL) (a) to (e): The State Government of Kerala has enacted the Kerala Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2018 to provide for the registration and regulation of clinical establishments rendering services in the State of Kerala. ‘Health’ being a State subject, the responsibility to address concern expressed by Indian Medical Association over the impact of the Kerala Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2018 on small hospitals andclinics inthe Stateof Kerala lieswith the State Government of Kerala. *****
