IMPLEMENTATION OF PLI SCHEME FOR TEXTILES
*366. SMT. JEBI MATHER HISHAM:
Will the Minister of TEXTILES be pleased to state:
(a) the current status of approvals granted under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for
textiles, including the number of companies approved and the total investment committed under the
scheme;
(b) the number of approved units that have commenced production and exports so far, including those
that have begun operations during the last two months;
(c) whether Government has disbursed incentives to the approved companies under the scheme, if so,
the details of the amount released along with the number of beneficiaries; and
(d) whether any implementation delays or operational bottlenecks have been reported by participating
firms, particularly MSMEs, in meeting the scheme requirements?

NO. *366 FOR 27.03.2026 REGARDING IMPLEMENTATION OF PLI SCHEME FOR
TEXTILES TABLED BY SMT. JEBI MATHER HISHAM.
(a) to (c): A total of 96 companies have been approved under the Production Linked Incentive
(PLI) Scheme for Textiles. The total committed investment by the 96 companies selected under the
scheme is Rs.31,687 crore. 31 Companies have commenced production and achieved exports of
Rs.902 crore. Further Government has disbursed incentive to four companies under the Scheme. The
cumulative incentive disbursement under the Scheme is Rs.117.17 crore.
(d): Regular engagement with PLI participants is maintained through structured consultations to
ensure expeditious resolution of operational bottlenecks and streamlining project implementation.
