GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF TRIBAL AFFAIRS RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO- 4274 TO BE ANSWERED ON- 01/04/2026 IMPLEMENTATION OF PM-JANMAN IN ANDHRA PRADESH 4274 SHRI SANA SATHISH BABU: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) whether Government has a district-wise and village-wise breakup of the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) population in Andhra Pradesh, if so, details thereof; (b) the list of PVTGs affected by Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) scheme in Andhra Pradesh; (c) the current implementation status of the eleven interventions of the scheme in Andhra Pradesh district-wise and scheme-wise; and (d) the total funds allocated and released to the Andhra Pradesh under the PM-JANMAN mission over the last three years and the percentage of Development Action Plan for STs (DAPST) grants utilized for the 11 critical interventions? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a) & (b): In view of the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN), the Ministry of Tribal Affairs through the State Governments/ UT Administration/departments has undertaken habitation level data collection exercise through PM Gati Shakti mobile application to estimate PVTG population figures and infrastructure gaps in order to cover PVTG population residing in villages & habitations under PM JANMAN. Based on the data captured by State Government of Andhra Pradesh, the number of PVTG villages and PVTGs population, district-wise, are given in Annexure-I. PM JANMAN is targeted at socio-economic development of 75 PVTGs communities residing in 18 States and 1 UT including Andhra Pradesh. The identified PVTGs in the State of Andhra Pradesh (including Telangana) are Chenchu, Bodo Gadaba, Gutob Gadaba, Dongria Kondhs, Kuttiya Kondhs, Kolam, Kondareddis, Konda Savaras, Bondo Porja, Khond Porja, Parangiperja and Thoti.(c) & (d): The progress of various interventions, district-wise and scheme-wise, in the State of Andhra Pradesh under PM JANMAN is given in Annexure-II.
