GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 284 TO BE ANSWERED ON 02.02.2026 IMPLEMENTATION OF PM-VISHWAKARMA YOJANA 284. SHRI SAT PAUL SHARMA: Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state: (a) the number of artisans from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir who have applied for enrollment under the PM-Vishwakarma Yojana, along with district-wise details thereof; (b) the number of cases in Jammu and Kashmir in which verification and approval have been completed under the scheme; and (c) the present status of disbursement of benefits to enrolled artisans in Jammu and Kashmir, including toolkit incentives, skill training and credit support? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE) (a): PM Vishwakarma Scheme was launched on 17.09.2023 to provide end-to-end holistic support to artisans and craftspeople of 18 trades who work with their hands and tools. District-wise number of artisans who have applied/enrolled under the PM-Vishwakarma scheme from U.T. of Jammu and Kashmir is at Annexure-I. (b): As of 27.01.2026; 1.55 lakh artisans have been registered as PM Vishwakarma, after three stage verification process. (c): As of 27.01.2026, 1.33 lakh beneficiaries have been provided Basic Skill Training, modern toolkits have been delivered to 89,692 beneficiaries and loans have been sanctioned to 14,344 beneficiaries amounting to Rs. 132.7 crore in Jammu and Kashmir under PM Vishwakarma. *******Annexure-I Annexure-I referred to in reply to part (a) of the Rajya Sabha Unstarred Question No. 284 for answer on 02.02.2026 District-wise number of artisans who have enrolled/applied under the PM-Vishwakarma scheme from U.T. of Jammu and Kashmir No. of artisans enrolled under PM S.
