MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE
कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण रा(cid:475) मं(cid:361)ी (SHRI BHAGIRATH CHOUDHARY)
(a): Prime Minister Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (DDKY) is being implemented in
Madhubani, Darbhanga, Banka, Gaya, Siwan, Kishanganj and Nawada districts of Bihar.
(b) & (c): DDKY is being implemented through convergence of 36 Central schemes across
11 Departments, other State schemes and envisages partnerships with the private sector.
Committees have been constituted at the district, state, and national levels for effective
planning, implementation, and monitoring of the scheme.
District Action Plans (DAPs) have been prepared and finalized by the District level
committees headed by the district collector in consultation with relevant stakeholders. The
DDKY districts from Bihar have formulated the DAPs and uploaded the same on the DDKY
dashboard. The concerned Ministries/Departments have also provided feedback on the
DAPs to these DDKY districts.
Progress of the scheme in DDKY districts is monitored through Key Performance Indicators
(KPIs) on monthly basis. The DDKY dashboard records activities against KPI targets and
district wise ranking is envisaged at the end of each year.
Since inception of the DDKY (till January 2026), the DDKY districts of Bihar have carried out
various activities as per objectives of the scheme such as 1.58 lakhs number of successful
Artificial Insemination (AI); 26227 registrations under National Fisheries Digital Platform
(NFDP); 4381 farmers/beneficiaries given financial assistance for procurement of
agricultural machinery/equipment; and 4927 farmers trained in various skills by KVKs etc.
