(PM-JUGA) across the country, State-wise along with the criteria used for their selection;
(b) the number and details of villages identified under PM-JUGA in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise along with
their current status of implementation;
(c) the component-wise details of proposals received, approved and implemented under the said scheme across
the country, State-wise and district-wise in Andhra Pradesh;
(d) the total funds allocated, sanctioned and utilised under PM-JUGA across the country since the inception
of the said scheme, year/State-wise and district-wise for Andhra Pradesh; and
(e) the number of Scheduled Tribe (ST) households and individuals benefited from the said scheme so far,

(a&b): Hon'ble Prime Minister launched Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan on 2nd October, 2024.
The Abhiyan comprises of 25 interventions implemented by 17 line Ministries and aims to saturate infrastructural
gaps in 63,843 villages, improve access to health, education, Anganwadi facilities and providing livelihood
opportunities benefiting more than 5 crore tribals in 549 districts and 2,911 blocks in 30 States/UTs in 5 years.
The Abhiyan targets specific tribal-majority villages with populations of 500 or more, where at least 50% are
tribal, and villages, in Aspirational blocks, with at least 50 tribal population. The States have been provided with
the list of 63,843villages, selected as per the Antyodaya gaps data approved under the Mission. In case the state
finds any village has been left out in the list of 63,843, which is otherwise meeting the criteria, the States/UTs
are free to send proposal for inclusion of the village under Abhiyan. The number and details of villages including
Andhra Pradesh under PMJUGA/DAJGUA can be seen at the website of Ministry of Tribal Affair and the link
