Will the Minister of CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is true that the farmers are facing the problem of inadequate supply
of DAP and other fertilizers in aspirational district of Sonbhadra in Robertsganj Lok
Sabha Constituency in Uttar Pradesh; and
(b) if so, the details thereof and the time by which the supply of DAP fertilizers to
the farmers is likely to be streamlined?

(a) & (b) The mandate of Department of Fertilizers is to ensure adequate availability
of fertilizers at State level. The distribution of fertilizers within the State at district level
is done by the concerned State governments. Accordingly, State government of Uttar
Pradesh has informed that there is no shortage of DAP and other fertilizers in
aspirational district of Sonbhadra and there is adequate stock of 9,694 Metric Tons
of Urea, 4,852 Metric Tons of DAP, 3,078 Metric Tons of NPKS, 1,784 Metric Tons
of SSP and 109 Metric Tons of MOP as on 01.12.2025.
