(a) whether there is any provision for giving information under Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) about the arrested person; and

(a) & (b): As per section 37(b) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,
2023, every State Government shall designate a police officer in every
district and in every police station, not below the rank of Assistant Sub-
Inspector of Police, who shall be responsible for maintaining and
displaying information to the general public about details of persons
arrested.
