SHRI G M HARISH BALAYOGI: Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state: (a) the details of roads, bridges and other infrastructures constructed under the Pradhan Mantri-Gram SadakYojana (PMGSY-I, II, III, IV) in Andhra Pradesh, project and district- wise especially in Konaseema district, year-wise during the last three years; (b) the details of proposals received for the construction of roads, bridges and other infrastructures under the PMGSY-III and PMGSY-IV from Andhra Pradesh, project-wise, district-wise especially in Konaseema district; (c) the details of roads, bridges and other infrastructures that are pending and under construction under PMGSY-III, IV, including the reason for pendency and the progress of construction in Andhra Pradesh, project-wise, district-wise especially in Konaseema district; and (d) the amount of funds sanctioned, released, and utilized under PMGSY-I, II, III, IV for the construction of roads, bridges and other infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh, project-wise, year-wise over the last three years, district-wise, especially in Konaseema district? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SHRI KAMLESH PASWAN) (a) to (c): The State of Andhra Pradesh has been sanctioned a total of 20,032 kms of road works under Pradhan Mantri Gram SadakYojana (PMGSY), since inception of the programme till 16.7.2025. Page 1 of 3As on 16.7.2025, a total of 599 km (102 roads and 75 bridges) of balance length is in progress under various stages of execution in Andhra Pradesh under various verticals of Pradhan Mantri Gram SadakYojana (PMGSY) viz. 13 roads of 65 km and 2 bridges of PMGSY-I and 89 roads of 534 km and 73 bridges of PMGSY III. All sanctioned works of PMGSY-II have already been completed. The timeline for completion of works under PMGSY I in the State was March, 2025. Ongoing projects under PMGSY III have to be completed by March, 2026. Further release of funds to the Project Implementation Units Units (PIUs) at the district level is done by the respective State Governments depending upon the absorption capacity of the PIU.
