The Minister of State (IC) of the Ministry of Ayush (Shri Prataprao Jadhav) answered that, at present, only one Ayurvedic Institution, namely the Institute of Teaching & Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Jamnagar, Gujarat, has been accorded the status of Institute of National Importance (INI) by the Government. Currently, no proposal is under consideration to accord INI Status to AIIA, Delhi.
