INSTALLATION OF MOBILE TOWERS IN DUBRI NATIONAL PARK OF SIDHI

Will the Minister of COMMUNICATIONS be pleased to state:
(a) the total number of villages in the Sidhi Parliamentary Constituency of Madhya Pradesh
where, at present, the network of any mobile operator, whether Government or private, is not
available;
(b) the main reasons for the delay in the construction of towers sanctioned under the 4G
Saturation Scheme in several villages of Kusmi, Majhauli, Chitrangi, Deosar and Beohari
Development Blocks of the tribal areas of the Sidhi Lok Sabha Constituency, where network services
are still unavailable;
(c) whether the requisite clearance has been obtained from the Ministry of Environment and
Forests for the installation of mobile towers in the Sanjay Dubri National Park of Sidhi District; and
(d) the time by which these towers are likely to be made operational?

(a) The coverage status of villages under the Sidhi Parliamentary Constituency of Madhya
Pradesh, as on 30.06.2026, is as follows:

(b) As on 30.06.2026, 46 towers have been planned in the villages of Kusmi, Majhauli, Chitrangi,
Deosar and Beohari Development Blocks, out of which 38 sites have been made on air.
The reason for delay in the remaining sites is due to delay in land allocation by the State
Government
(c) No forest proposal is pending as reported by implementing agencies under DBN mobile
projects
(d) The time by which these towers are likely to be made operational is subject to the land
allocation by the State Government, so no timeline can be given.
