Integrated Development and Management of Fisheries Component
†2860. Shri Sanatan Pandey:
Will the Minister of FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING be
pleased to state:
(a) the details of the total funds sanctioned and utilized under the Integrated
Development and Management of Fisheries component of the Blue Revolution
Scheme, State-wise including Uttar Pradesh;
(b) the details of the funds sanctioned and utilized under this scheme for Uttar
Pradesh, district-wise; and
(c) the details of the fisheries centres established in Uttar Pradesh under this
scheme during the last two years, year-wise?

(a) to (c): The Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) on Blue Revolution:
Integrated Development and Management of Fisheries was implemented by the
Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries,
Government of India from 2015-16 to 2019-20 at a total central outlay of Rs. 3000
crore for development of fisheries in the country and a total sum of Rs. 2580.87 crore
has been released to States/UTs including Uttar Pradesh. The State wise details of
funds released including Uttar Pradesh under the said scheme is at Annexure-I while
the district wise details of funds sanctioned and utilized in Uttar Pradesh is at
Annexure-II. As reported by Uttar Pradesh, no fisheries centres has been established
under the erstwhile CSS-Blue Revolution: Integrated Development and Management
of Fisheries.
