Parliament Question: Kisan Credit Cards in Andhra Pradesh

SHRI KESINENI SIVANATH: Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state: (a) the number of Kisan Credit Cards that have been issued in the State of Andhra Pradesh, district-wise; (b) the amount of loans that have been availed by farmers during the last five years, district wise and year wise; (c) the amount of loans that have received Prompt Repayment Incentive during the last five years, district-wise and year-wise; (d) whether the Government has any plans of increasing the loan limit under Kisan Credit Card; and (e) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor ? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI PANKAJ CHAUDHARY) (a) and (b) As reported by State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), Andhra Pradesh, the district-wise details of number of Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) issued and amount disbursed thereon in the State of Andhra Pradesh during the last five years are provided at Annexure-I. (c) As reported by banks on the Kisan Rin Portal (KRP) of Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DAFW), the district-wise, year-wise details of KCC loan amount disbursed under Modified Interest Subvention Scheme (MISS) and details of Prompt Repayment Incentive (PRI) released thereon since Financial Year 2022-23 in the state of Andhra Pradesh is provided at Annexure-II. Before the launch of KRP in 2023, the granular district wise PRI data was not maintained.
