(a) the details regarding the amount of funds sanctioned, released and utilized under Livestock
Health and Disease Control Programme, during each of the last five years, State-wise;
(b) the details of various livestock diseases reported in Andhra Pradesh during such period,
State-wise;
(c) the details and the number of animals vaccinated under the scheme, during such period,
State-wise and district-wise for Andhra Pradesh;
(d) the details and the number of project proposals received and approved under Assistance to
States for Control of Animal Diseases sub-component during the such period, State and
district-wise including Andhra Pradesh; and
(e) the number of animal disease diagnostic laboratories and State vaccine production units
operational in the country, State-wise and district-wise for Andhra Pradesh?

(a) The detail regarding the amount of funds sanctioned, released, utilised State/UT wise
under Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme (LHDCP), during the last five
years is placed as Annexure-I.
(b) The details of various livestock diseases reported in Andhra Pradesh and other
States/UTs during the last five years are placed as Annexure-II.
(c) The details and the number of animals vaccinated under the scheme for major diseases
like Foot & Mouth disease (FMD), Brucellosis, Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) and
Classical Swine Fever (CSF) during the last five years, State-wise and district-wise for
Andhra Pradesh are placed as Annexure- III.
(d) Annual Action Plans for LHDCP received every year from all 28 States & 8 UT’s
including proposal for Assistance to States for Control of Animal Diseases (ASCAD)
of LHDCP. All proposal examined and approved as per Operational Guidelines (OG)
and funds available.
(e) The number of animal disease diagnostic laboratories and State vaccine production
units operational in the country, State-wise and district-wise for Andhra Pradesh
