(c) the time by which the metro rail service is likely to start in Bhopal?

(a) At present about 1083 kms of metro rail lines (including 55 kms of
Delhi Meerut RRTS) are operational in 25 different cities. State/UT wise
list of operational metro network in the country is attached as Annexure.
(b) India has become 3rd largest operational Metro Network in the world.
The operational metro/RRTS rail network has expanded from 248 km in
2014 to 1083 km in 2025. Since 2014 to till date, 38 metro rail projects
with total length of 1051 Kms at the estimated completion cost of approx.
Rs 3.44 lakh crore have been sanctioned by Government of India. Metro
rail services have been expanded from 5 cities in 2014 to 25 cities in 2025.
(c) The physical and financial progress of priority section of length 7.0
Kms from Subhash Nagar to AIIMS of Bhopal Metro Rail Project is 93.60%
and 93.10% respectively.
