(c) the total amount of funds allocated/released and utilised for the above specified schemes/initiatives
over the last five years, State-wise including Andhra Pradesh; and
(d) whether the Government has undertaken any promotional activities to raise awareness regarding the

(a): The Ministry, with a view to increase the modernization of textile machinery, has implemented
Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS), which was valid up to 31.03.2022. The
scheme is currently covering committed liability cases only.
(b) & (c): The number of textile manufacturing units benefitted under ATUFS and the quantum of
funds released thereto during last five years, state-wise, is as given in Annexure.
(d): Ministry is promoting awareness regarding the textile machinery upgradation through various
international and domestic events which includes Bharat Tex, Exhibitions, road shows and delegation
