SHRI ARUN KUMAR SAGAR: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ(cid:874)ष एवं (cid:873)कसान क(cid:227)याण म(cid:287)ं ी be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has taken any steps to sanction the National Horticulture Mission in all the development blocks under Shahjahanpur Lok Sabha Constituency keeping in view of the potential suspensible horticulture development, agro-climatic adaptation and development in Uttar Pradesh; (b) if so, the details thereof, and the latest status of this proposal; and (c) the time by which this proposal is likely to be finalised? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ(cid:874)ष एवं (cid:873)कसान क(cid:227)याण रा(cid:207)य म(cid:287)ं ी (SHRI RAMNATH THAKUR) (a) to (c): National Horticulture Mission (NHM) a sub-scheme of Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) is being implemented by Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for the holistic development of horticulture in the country. MIDH Operational Guidelines were revised in 2025 wherein all States/UTs including all the development blocks falling under Shahjahan Lok Sabha Constituency have been covered under MIDH MIDH is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme implemented through States based on their Annual Action Plan, which are prepared by States keeping in view of their specific requirement towards balanced horticulture development, adaptability of agro-climate and development prospects in the State. For the year 2025-26, an Annual Action Plan for Rs. 177.08 crore including GOI share of Rs. 106.24 crore i.e. 125% of the approved outlay has been approved under MIDH for Uttar Pradesh including the development blocks falling under Shahjahanpur Lok Sabha Constituency to cover various horticulture activities including Nurseries, Area Expansion, Mushroom, Protected Cultivation, Organic Farming, Beekeeping, Horticulture Mechanization, Post Harvest Management, Centre of Excellence, Markets etc. ******
