(NIELIT) centres currently operational across the country, State-wise;
(b) the number of Accredited Training Partners (ATPs) and facilitation centres affiliated with
NIELIT, State-wise;
(c) the details of funds allocated and released to NIELIT centres during each of the last five years,
State-wise;
(d) the details of the number of individuals trained by NIELIT during each of the last five years,
State-wise;
(e) the details of ongoing and completed research and development projects undertaken by the
National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) especially in the States of
Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh; and
(f) whether the Government proposes to establish more NIELIT centres across the country and if
so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (e): The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is an
Autonomous Scientific Society for skilling and related activities related to electronics and
information technology.
At present, 56 NIELIT Centers are operational. It has 797 Accredited Training Partners (ATPs)
and 9,275 facilitation centers are affiliated with NIELIT across the country. NIELIT has trained a
total of 43,60,759 candidates under various Degree/Diploma Level Courses and Skill Based
Courses (Long Term & Short Term). Further relevant details are available on the NIELIT website.
