SHRI PATEL UMESHBHAI BABUBHAI Will the Minister of ELECTRONICS and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state: (a) the number of applications received from students of Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on National Scholarship Portal during the last five years; (b) the number of students pursuing the diploma/graduate/post-graduate courses in Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu who have been awarded scholarship through National Scholarship Portal for each category during the last five years; (c) whether National Scholarship Portal has been continuously processing applications from Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu during the last five years; (d) if not, the reasons therefor; and (e) the details of the schemes of the Union Government for Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu under which applications for scholarship have been processed during each of the last five years, scheme-wise? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SHRI JITIN PRASADA) (a) to (e): National Scholarship Portal has been continuously processing applications from Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu during the last five years. During the last five years (till February 2026) 32,848 applications have been received from students of Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Out of this 3,273 scholarships have been awarded to students pursuing diploma/graduate/post-graduate courses. Year wise break up is placed at Table-1 and 2 of Annexure-I. Over the past five years, scholarship applications for students in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu have been processed under 22 Union Government scholarship schemes.
