NEW AMENDMENTS IN THE ZED 2.0 SCHEME

Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state:
(a) the details and the total number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
registered in the districts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh after the implementation of the New
amendments in the ZED 2.0 scheme;
(b) the number of MSMEs in the said districts that have successfully achieved Bronze, Silver
and Gold certification levels under the policy of 20 per cent reduction in cost of certification; and
(c) whether the Government has organized any special awareness programmes regarding
multiple testing system and financial assistance available for product certification and if so, the
details thereof?

(a) & (b): the details and the total number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
registered in the districts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh after the implementation of the new
amendments in the ZED 2.0 scheme along with the number of MSMEs in the said districts that
have successfully achieved Bronze, Silver and Gold certification levels under the policy of 20 per
cent reduction in cost of certification, are provided at Annexure-I.
(c): The Government has not organized any special awareness programmes specifically on the
multiple testing system or financial assistance for product certification. However, information on
the multiple testing / system / product certification, and the financial assistance available under the
Scheme is disseminated through webinars, door-to-door outreach, awareness campaigns, including
social media, and other outreach activities across the country.
