SHRI MURARI LAL MEENA: Will the Minister of HEAVY INDUSTRIES be pleased to state: (a) the number of new industrial projects approved by Central Public Sector Enterprises under the Ministry of Heavy Industries during the last three years across the country and particularly in Rajasthan along with sector-wise details thereof; (b) the total capital investment made so far under these approved projects and the number of direct and indirect employment opportunities generated/likely to be generated through them; (c) whether any proposal is under consideration for the establishment of any industrial unit, manufacturing cluster, ancillary industry or expansion project in the Dausa Parliamentary Constituency and if so, the details thereof, along with the number of industrial corridors announced in Rajasthan, the corridors declared near the Dausa region and the present status of their progress; and (d) whether the Government is providing special incentive policies, financial assistance and infrastructure support to attract heavy industries in tribal areas, semi-urban regions and areas with low industrial development and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR HEAVY INDUSTRIES (SHRI BHUPATHIRAJU SRINIVASA VARMA) (a) & (b): The operational Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) under the administrative control of the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) incur capital expenditure (CapEx) for the purpose of setting up of new plants & machinery for expansion and manufacture of new products.
