Will the Minister of CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS be pleased to state:
(a) the measurable outcomes of “One Nation One Fertilizer” (ONOF) scheme;(b) the details of the outcomes of the said scheme and subsidised fertilizers under the
single brand name “BHARAT" across the country during the last three years,
State/district-wise and year-wise including Palghar district in the State of Maharashtra;
(c) the specific improvements recorded in transparency, quality assurance and uniformity
in supply-chain through the said scheme;
(d) the availability and distribution coverage under the said scheme and indicators
reflecting reduction in fertilizer-related complaints and grievances redressal across the
country, State/district-wise including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh,
Gujarat, Jharkhand and Maharashtra; and
(e) the total distribution of fertilizers under ONOF scheme, State-wise including Pali
Parliamentary Constituency in Rajasthan?

(a) to (e) Vide notification dated 24th August, 2022, Government of India has decided to
implement One Nation One Fertilizers (ONOF) by introducing Single Bharat Brand for
Fertilizers and Logo under Fertilizer subsidy scheme namely “Pradhanmantri Bhartiya
Janurvarak Pariyojna” (PMBJP). All fertilizers companies viz Public sector, Cooperative and
Private sector are required to sell subsidized fertilizers under brand name “BHARAT” across
the country. The objective of the scheme is to increase the availability basket of fertilizers;
take care of dilemma among farmers in choosing from plethora of brands manufactured by
various companies available in the markets, reduce the crisscross movement and further
ensure timely supply of fertilizers across the country. By consolidating branding under a single
“BHARAT” brand, the scheme fosters transparency, combats malpractices, and ensures
equitable access to essential nutrients for crops. The mandate of Department of Fertilizers is
to ensure adequate availability of fertilizers at State level. The distribution of fertilizes within
the State at district level is done by the concerned State Government. The State-wise and
year-wise sales of fertilizers under the ONOF scheme is placed at Annexure - I. The district-
wise and year-wise sales of fertilizers including Palghar district in the State of Maharashtra
under the ONOF scheme is placed at Annexure - II. The year-wise sales of fertilizers in Pali
Parliamentary Constituency in Rajasthan under the ONOF scheme is placed at Annexure –
III.
