(a) whether the Prime Minister of India participated in the 51st G7
Summit held in Kananaskis, Canada, in June 2025, if so, the capacity in
which he participated in the said Summit;
(b) the details of major issues raised by the Prime Minister, especially
concerning the Global South, digital public infrastructure, sustainable
development, and counter-terrorism during the Summit;
(c) whether India’s positions on equitable technology access, climate
financing and global security received support from G7 member
countries, if so, the details thereof;
(d) the specific outcomes or agreements from the Summit that directly
benefit India; and
(e) the follow-up actions planned by the Government to leverage these
outcomes for national interest and diplomatic engagement?

(a to e) Yes, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated in
the G7 Summit from 16-17thJune 2025 in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada, at
the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Carney in the official capacity of
Outreach Partner.
During the G7 Summit, the Hon’ble Prime Minister spoke on major issues
including inclusive and sustainable development, clean energy transition
and the role of Digital Public Infrastructure in empowering citizens. He
highlighted India's global initiatives such as the International Solar
Alliance, Mission LiFE, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure,
Global Biofuels Alliance, One Sun One World One Grid. Hon’ble PM called
for global unity against terrorism. He also reiterated India’s commitment
to amplifying the voice of the Global South.
