be pleased to state :
(a) the details of the projects Sanctioned under the Production Linked Incentive scheme (PLI) for the
textile sector in the Country, State-wise;
(b) the details of quantum of investment made and employment generated through this scheme in various
States particularly in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra;
(c) the reasons for any cost delay in the implementation; and
(d) the details thereof ?

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR TEXTILES
(SHRI PABITRA MARGHERITA)
(a) & (b): Under the Production Linked Incentive scheme (PLI) for Textiles, a total of 170 companies
have been approved. As of March 31, 2026, investment to the tune of ₹8,117.64 crores have been made
by PLI companies and 33,427 new jobs have been generated. The State-wise details of investments made
and employment generated is at Annexure-1.
(c) & (d): No cost delay in the implementation has been reported under the scheme.Annexure-1
The State-wise details of quantum of investment made and employment generated through PLI scheme
for Textiles, as on 31.03.2026, is as under:-
