(b) The government has approved construction of a 32.14 km approach road and 22.22 km rail line for road and rail connectivity respectively for the recently approved Vadhavan Port in Maharashtra. Additionally, haveroad connectivity and a DPR study are being undertaken for rail connectivity to the newly constructed waterways terminals at Varanasi, Sahibganj, and Haldia on National Waterways - 1. (c) The government has launched the National Logistic Portal Marine (Sagar Setu), aiming to provide a one-stop platform to connect all stakeholders in the logistics community, including major ports, using information technology.
