Shri Omprakash Bhupalsinh Alias Pavan Rajenimbalkar: Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state: (a) the number of PM-SHRI schools sanctioned in Maharashtra along with the current status of civil works/smart classrooms, district-wise; and (b) the latest indicators of UDISE 2024-25 for Maharashtra and the district where gaps still exits? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (SHRI JAYANT CHAUDHARY) (a): Under PM SHRI scheme, a total of 860 PM SHRI schools have been selected from the State of Maharashtra out of which 207 are primary, 466 are elementary, 121 are secondary and 66 are senior secondary. The current status of civil works/smart classrooms, district-wise for Maharashtra under PM SHRI scheme, as informed by the State, is attached as Annexure-I.
